“By arranging a number of pivoting members around a central plane, a system is developed by which a chair can assume several different con gurations, including being turned inside out. Femten has the ability to nest within copies of itself, both in its stool/side table configuration, as well as when it is a fully backed chair. In its splayed, non-deployed configuration, Femten wall-mounts from its center. It protrudes less than half an inch from the surface to which it is mounted.”
